Challenging Case Abstracts:
This category is intended to showcase cases that present significant diagnostic dilemmas or exemplify the complexity involved in reaching a diagnosis. While priority is given to cases with challenging diagnostic pathways, those involving difficult-to-treat or treatment-resistant scenarios are also considered.
Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts that detail unique or particularly complex clinical cases. Submissions should emphasize the problem-solving process, differential diagnoses considered, and the steps taken to arrive at the final diagnosis. Highlighting the clinical reasoning and key learning points from each case is recommended.
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by a panel. The most compelling cases will be selected for oral presentation during the conference, and the two best presentations [in challenging case category] will receive awards. Authors whose abstracts are not selected for oral presentation will be notified and offered the option to present their cases as E-posters, ensuring valuable clinical experiences are shared with the broader community.
